Chipper Yang will return to the lineup following a slump of a stretch by Vance Altman.
Well Altman had a great debut but Chan Nava shot himself in the foot late in the game despite his HR efforts
Altman brings experience and much needed presence to the lineup for the Jays, as they look to deepen their roster in hopes of contending for the divisional pennant.
37-year old veteran Vance Altman, a former LF for the Hocky Pocky's, has been acquired and called up as a backup for starter Chipper Yang.
They seek to get a high rated pitcher or hitter of similar caliber in return.
The Anaheim Blue Jays have opened up the market to explore trade negotiations for captain Bruce Blaylock, who hasn't seen action since being benched in favour of Herb Schindler earlier this season.
