UPDATE: Bourbon Bandits owner Bud Blackwell has been released from the hospital today after suffering a heart attack. Blackwell appeared in good spirits and even posed for a photo with the division trophy following the Bandits' clinching victory.

BREAKING: Beloved Bourbon Bandits owner Bud Blackwell was reportedly hospitalized earlier this morning with an apparent heart attack. Sources report he is alert and in stable condition, but it is unclear when he will return to the owner's box.
Bourbon Bandits players were quick to take to social media to send their love, while Blackwell's eldest son Bruce, minority team shareholder, announced the team will continue to play their afternoon and evening games as scheduled. Per Jeff Passan
