S152 Power Rankings: Half-way mark!

Dec 11th 2025 By Charlotte Magic

Written by Athens Bobcats:

Sitting at the halfway mark, there’s been a lot of domination going on in the last 15 games. Starting with the Charlotte Magic they have continued to show why they are the team to beat as they’ve gone 14-1 in the last 15 with a run differential of +81. Two teams who’ve shot up the list are the Blacksox and Coquis.

After starting 12-3, Blacksox went on a dominant run, going 13-2 with a +41-run differential in that span. Looking at Coquis, he’s on a historic run as he currently sits on a 15-game win streak with a run differential of +75 with notable wins coming against Baltimore Oriole (11-2), Sacramento Spears (15-7), and San Diego La Mesa Monarchs (5-4).

The Edmonton Nightcrawlers look to be a dark horse contender as he searches for his first Worlds appearance after starting 11-4. His offense has turned it around, winning 13 of the last 15 games scoring 97 runs and holding 11 opponents to less than two runs during this span.

The Raccoons have been highly successful recently, posting a 12–3 record over their last 15 contests. During this stretch, they outscored their opponents 85 to 33, resulting in a total run differential (+/-) of +52. The pitching staff has been untouchable during this span throwing five shutouts.

Notable fallers include legendary franchises Ocala Coalition, Oakland ObZen, Baltimore Gangsters, and Minneapolis Wolves. Coalition and ObZen have gone 11-4 while Wolves have gone 10-5. Gangsters went 8-7 in the last 15, causing a drop from 4th to 25th. There is still plenty of season to be played to climb back up.

Oh when I said 6 teams in the division I meant your team playing the 5 teams in your division 6 times lol

Your up to 50 games then play 10 outside your league making it 60 ..I think the most important thing is everybody plays the same amount of games against each other in their respective division

What I brought up many moons ago was 6 teams in each division ..so each team plays the other within their division 6 times ...so 5 teams x 6 games is 30 then play 20 games in your league vs randon teams , now

We should petition to make a league dedicated for the best of the best, kind of like they have in soccer. The worst teams apart of this league could be subjected to relegation too to allow new teams in and to keep that league competitive.

there's definitely a power five and group of five in terms of league, and deciding the strengths of leagues could benefit the conversations
