uh. the generation of a new team is at random, yankees. the system randomly selects which league you go to so any dead team is susceptible to being bumped

go to farm system. there will be a free agency pool on the bottom. you can broswe through there and pick up quality players. usually it is just a bunch of crappy players but usually there'll be a bunch of good ones. you have to check the news feed...
