Also Giants, ratings are just potentials. I know its not the case with your pitcher, but Ive seen triple 90s that drink with career eras over 4.

Little tweaks like that go a long way. I get to stuck on certain players "no matter what" and it cost me in the past. I've had to re-evaluate my strategy, especially with Game Manager.
By the end of the season, he probably will. But your reliever looks good right now, so if Ahern has 2-3 poor starts in a row, swap 'em until Wasson starts to struggle.

Yeah, I was trying to start the season with a couple triple 90's pitchers cause I was expecting them to at least have an era hovering around 3
Also looking at your pitcher. He's got great stats, maybe this was a bad game. Maybe he is cold and needs some rest. As Josh said theres a lot under the hood, I don't know what all the variables are, but if he stays cold, try someone else for a fe
There are some guys that maybe 83/83/85 pitchers that can throw sub 3 ERAs. Maybe their strikeout rate is lower, but they will help you win games.
