you shouldnt have to provide a phone number to create an instagram account. as far as I know

It says I have to enter my phone number to sign up. I don't want to give my phone number to facebook. Is there any other way to access this

Actually Im gonan reschedule this event. We had to remove a bunch of hacker teams yesterday and it may cause some issues with finalizaiton tonight which happens at 6pm EST too.. and I need to be on standby to correct any errors that might arise
