The ideal solution is to just remove the dead teams and spread the live ones out among fewer leagues.
The whole point of the playoffs is to weed out the bad teams. I'd rather have a boring regular season and exciting playoffs than a team wins its league and cruises to a world title. At that point just make the winner of Delta Sun champion.
BEERnCHEESE is right...all the active teams moving to Delta Sun is ridiculous. You'd sacrifice a competitive world playoffs for a more competitive regular season?
Teams and buy their best players, because odds are they're going to lose anyway. Most of the veteran teams are active, most of the inactive teams are protected by the rule.
Here's how I feel - I really don't like the bidding process, I hate when I see another team is trying to pry away one of my best players. I get that it's a part of the game, but I don't like doing it to other teams, so I look for inactive

This 90 day rule continues to drive me crazy...there's gotta be like 5 guys in the entire league I can actually bid on
