Yeah, I usually have a very good offense. Its the pitching that ruins everything.
But don't think for a second you haven't got a solid team. You put 8+ runs past me twice, and that's not something this pitching staff tends to do. You pushed me all the way.

The difference between our lineups, for the most part, is the speed ratings, and that's where I won this series, by getting runners into scoring position with SB and 1st-to-3rds on singles.
Just IMO, if you're going for contact over power (which is my tendency as well), you have to go for speed to counteract the lower power numbers.
I like that attitude Royals, you've definitely got the spine of a good team, but you just need to flush it out a bit. Find a particular player type and commit to it across the board.
Hey Bombers, question for you. If I win this series in 2 games, is there any sort of pitching rest penalty to shuffle my rotation around and put my top 2 starters in the rotation for tomorrow's games? Or is it totally fine?

I am definitely going to be making some moves this off-season. I can't believe this has been 2 straight seasons with sub-40 wins. That is unacceptable.
