i think maybe the game is saying that you already had 2 major league catchers on your roster and the ohawks are right its a glitch that is shifting barlow to a different position
I traded a minor league catcher in the deal

that could be ohawks i got him off the free agent list 2 seasons ago he has been a very good catcher but i have an equally good one in paxton about the same age

you can see right on this page taht barlow was a catcher for bigcats ! maybe try asking one of the game assistants what to do are you friends with any of them on here yet ?

he was probably originally a 2b but got changed to c by the trade glitch at some point in the past.

maybe it is because you already had 2 catchers on your major league roster that is the only thing i can think of it is weird thats for sure
Did you trade your starting catcher int the deal?
i tried but it says make sure position is the same, which frankly annoys me a bit, I think you should have a bit a flexibility in terms of choosing where to play your players.

have you tried putting him in lineup as the catcher ? your welcome for the pitchers but watch shelly he is quirky
he's pretty useless as a 2B for me but perhaps I can trade him in the future to acquire more talent. Thanks for the pitchers anyway
