be tweaked...make it either value scout ratings more or just dump scout ratings altogether...too misleading and frustrating.

Yeah, you're right about the scouting ratings Foo...you have the best team in this game according to that, and should win the world series every year, instead you rarely make world playoffs in a dead league. Ridiculous; the simulator really needs to

Agreed Marvols...one game playoffs leaves way too much margin for error. With 5 game playoffs upsets might still happen, but much less often and better teams would usually win (just like in real baseball)

There have been a lot of good one-run games. This is very realistic . . . and, of course, no Seattle team advanced. So it's exactly what happens. :-)

It's not perfect, Foo, but in a one game playoff, teams become more equal. In a 5 or 7 game playoff, better times win.
