Rhody Invitational Round Robin
Thank you to the 33 teams who scheduled all 3 games against me! With those games and some other scheduled games, I was able to play 108 games in 1 day of the offseason! Pretty impressive, right? Well, that's thanks to you all!
7 teams went 3-0 and 5 teams went 2-1. That left two Wild Card teams in the mix, and we ran a simulation, bringing two of them into the Round Robin.
I also want to give a quick explanation as to why I implemented Wild Card teams. Since I've brought back these offseason tournaments, many teams have competed despite a prize as good as this. So I wanted to reward them for their loyalty. This is the only season we will have set Wild Card teams like this. Anyone who is unhappy with those rules, I am sorry and next season we will work on a set of rules everyone likes, now that this tournament is funded.
So being said, we have 14 teams still alive for the Round Robin. They have been split into pools. Pool A and Pool B. Here are the teams in each pool:
