Note that teams will have a grace period of 30 minutes after the deadline to bid higher for their own players, or to contract them. (This is known in the game as the 30 minute rule, which was previously the 10 minute rule).

WINNERS explained that to me a few seasons back: Apparently if you've already put a bid on a guy or he's your player, you get a 30-minute window after the bidding deadline to raise your bid. I reckon A LOT of owners don't know about this. Take

Different deadlines: when you and another guy have a bid on a guy on his or your team the deadline is 930
Yeah I saw the guy who was competing with me on a bid lurking about at 9:28 so I raised my bid price just to be sure. I saw last season where a guy almost got snaked at 9:29:35 but beat it out at like 9:29:50 I kid you not LOL High drama on FB,

Guys there's no point bidding anonymously anymore. You're easily traceable with this new tool. Switch off anon OK? Have some kahunas.
