World Playoff Madness

This morning, the World Playoffs began with 8 separate games pitting the higher-seeded home teams against the underdog visitors.

In exactly 1 game did the home team come out on top.

While the Roughnecks put a beating on the unfortunate Rangers in a 13-3 rout, the other 7 home teams tasted defeat and were sent home for the winter in a series of shock defeats, including three 1-run wins by visiting teams.

What's more astonishing is that in all three of those games, the visitors put the winning run on the board in the 9th inning or later, while there were absolute scenes in Newfoundland as the St Johns Deadly Sins, the highest remaining seed, were eliminated when the batter representing the tying run grounded into a double play to end the game.

High drama abounds across the playoffs in Franchise Ball this season!!!

damn I always felt u were inactive, mainly cause u never really on the social feeds or whatever. i feel horribly abt that lol, u have a good team man and a bright future

Scapegoats don't try??? I've been in this game since season 3 one team or another. I can't tell you how many times I was eliminated by inferior teams. Not to mention, just try legally bidding on a player and suffer the hate and retaliation

If you've been gone for 21 days by the time playoffs starts, you've missed the entire regular season. So.....doesn't mean you get purged, just means you should have to be active to make the playoffs.

21 days is crazy, people have a vacation ya know

See if that helps with the playoff heartache. At least active teams should be in the playoffs.

If any team that makes any form of the playoffs has been inactive for more than 21 days, they should be DQ'd from the playoffs and replaced with a BYE week in League playoffs, and just removed from the WC pool....
