Armando Block: Block Party by Houston Astronauts

Hello, friends! Normally, I would write an article recapping the playoffs and the Champions in general but since there wasn't particularly a new champion (no disrespect, Waves, but I have to be fair with the other teams as well), I decided to go on a different approach. An approach to remember a legend who just recently retired the past off-season. Ladies and gentlemen (I know there is at least one girl reading this), allow me to take you on a journey down memory lane.
Armando Block AKA Block Party had a lot to prove himself when he entered the big leagues back in Season 92 (I don't know how old he was. He was 41 when he retired. You do the math). After not getting a single at-bat in his first 3 seasons, he signed with the legendary San Diego Bombers and that was where his quest for success began. Enjoy math class featuring yours truly, Houston Astronauts. Readers beware: There is going to be a LOT of numbers. Just when you thought you could get away from math this summer. *Evil laughter echoes across the corridor *. On A side note, I'm including his stats to show you how much of a legend he truly is.
He ended Season 95 with 301 ABs, 103 hits, .342 AVG, 59 rbis, .701 SLG, 24 doubles (best Stat on his resume), 6 triples and 24 home runs. Not a bad start to his "rookie" season. It only gets better from there (because, I mean, come on! You should all know by now that Bombers does a fantastic job at producing legends. It's all about the power).
In Season 96, he racked up 295 ABs, 111 hits, .376 AVG, 80 rbis, .820 SLG (best Stat on his resume), 13 doubles, 5 triples, and 36 home runs (!). A monster Season for this beast. If you didn't vote for him to be the MVP, you're fired (jk, jk).
In Season 97, he had 292 ABs, 92 hits, .315 AVG, 64 rbis, .644 SLG, 20 doubles, 5  triples, and 22 home runs. A solid Season for him to say the least.
In Season 98, he had 272 at bats, 89 hits, .327 AVG, 46 rbis, .581 SLG, 11 doubles, 2 triples and 18 home runs. Not nearly as impressive as his last 2 seasons but what can we do? Go back in time and tell him to stop sleeping during team meetings? Yeah, I wish we could do that too.
In Season 99, he had 293 at bats, 116 hits, .396 AVG (best Stat on his resume), 63 rbis, .747 SLG, 20 doubles, 4 triples and 25 home runs. A much better Season from him.
In Season 100, he had 334 at bats, 115 hits, .344 AVG, 77 rbis, .710 SLG, 13 doubles, 5 triples and 33 home runs. Another great season.
In Season 101, he had 329 at bats, 119 hits (best Stat on his resume), .362 AVG, 81 rbis (best Stat on his resume), .775 SLG, 22 doubles, 9 triples (best Stat on his resume) and 32 home runs. Based on the stats, this was the best Season in his career.
You know what? If I keep writing down the numbers, this will end up being as long as a college essay. So, I'll let you guys experience history with your own eyes. I'll just write down the final career stats so that I don't bore you guys to death writing 4 billion numbers in one article.
When his career concluded, he had 3,255 at bats, 1,101 hits, .338 AVG, 687 rbis, .685 SLG, 173 doubles, 50 triples on the dot, and 285 home runs.
In conclusion, this dude was an absolute monster at the plate and he rightfully deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame.
Note: You guys are probably complaining that you don't get to see how the rest of his seasons played out. So, I'll be generous and provide you exclusive access to his very own career resume. Click the link down below (if it works) and witness history.
