Season 106 Awards

Gaspard Ledesma MVP Award - Destin Findley (San Diego Giants)

In yet another offensive lacking season, this dude shined. Sure, I was tempted to pick my own player Vincent Barden who led the league in HRs. But I am not biased like that, and this dude was one of the only other people to qualify. 28 HRs and a .356 average is not something you see in this game nowadays (maybe in the mid-90s when the offense was crazy good).

Finalist - Mohammad Sherry (St. Johns Raptors)
Finalist - Ulysses Kirchner (Tampa Pack is back)

Isaac Barkley Award (Pitcher of the Year) - Allan Prentice (Sumner Scapegoats)

This dude was pretty damn good. Not the best we have seen, but pretty damn good. ERA under 2 is always good (considering baseball is about runs) with a pretty good WHIP too. Not much to say about this dude, just the best pitcher this season.

Finalist - Alonzo Gilland (Grand Rapids BBBB)
Finalist - Mano Tapia (Allentown Jits)

Rhett Beltran Reliever of the Year - Dorian Ellis (Dallas Longhorns)

Let the king get his crown returned. A lot of the older people on this site are familiar with Dorian Ellis, as he has won many awards before. Dude was good out of the bullpen with 12 saves, a 2.3 ERA and a .935 WHIP. Great player, future Hall of Famer in my opinion.

Finalist - Alejandro Prince (Fort Lauderdale Waves) - I know he had 28 saves but he didn’t come close to all-star requirements.*
Finalist - Charro Ibarra (Boston Red Sox 1)

Apodaca-Chapa Rookie of the Year - Kyler Sinclair (Santa Clarita Currents)

I know he did not make all-stars, as his WHIP was too high. However, this dude deserves this award. (Also, I might just be a teeny-bit biased as he used to be on my second team, but I never started him because I never really managed that team). ERA was nice, he was ranked high on the rankings list. Also, Currents was bugging me about him all year, and I haven’t found any really good rookies.*

*Players who barely miss all-star requirements might win awards if there are not better players around.

Season 106 All-Star Game

Just a little promotion for the Season 106 All-Star Game. I asked Shima to do a Power-Pros game again (I like it and so do the people) - and he decided to do it. It will take place between February 27th and February 29th (March 1st). Date and time are TBD and should be released in the next few days. Game will be streamed on Discord and later posted to YouTube.

I honestly think Barden was a good pick. He doesn't have to not pick his his players just because they are his lol. I don't think it was biased

well too bad that the game doesnt account steals into its rankings - but holy shit 71 is a lot. I get all happy when a player gets half of that

not talking about K's overall, K/9 better means that Ibarra is more effective on average, any time a batter strikes out (doesn't put the ball into play) is obviously better than any scenario where the ball is put into play, no matter the contact

Storm :
I understand your point. K's are impressive but I don't care about them, the walks and WHIP is understandable.

Future HoF... with a 4.37 ERA? 1.142 WHIP? And while on the surface Ellis looks better Ibarra had a much better W-L record, played 50% more innings, had a better K/9, WHIP, and had just 2 walks all season, in the more innings...
