Season 105 Awards

Hey, it is Storm. Before we get into this season’s awards, I would like to give a tribute to the Alexandria Awards Masters for founding our current All-Star, Awards, and Hall of Fame. Despite me taking over for All-Stars and Awards due to resignation, most of the credit should be given to him for adding a little extra spice to this game. He is still doing Hall of Fame work.

DISCLAIMER - I understand that some players have had amazing statistics in some statistical categories. However, they have been left out of my sight in the FB Power Rankings due to lack of excellence in multiple categories. If your player is left out, just suck it up and don’t argue because these aren’t changing (you guys know who you are). Thanks, and please enjoy your Season 105 Award Winners!

Gaspard Ledesma MVP Award - Quincy Rollins (Atlanta THE DUKES)

In an offensive-lacking season, this dude was on top. He played at a high level, hitting 29 homers and leading the league in RBIs with 77 (technically 2nd, but the dude with more had 450 AB). This dude, despite hiding under the radar for most of his lengthy career, has a great case to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. It just depends on if he starts more seasons and if he continues to play around an above-average level.

Nominee - Caden Stahl (San Antonio Sizzle)
Nominee - Phillip Lloyd (San Diego Swag)

Isaac Barkley Pitcher of the Year Award - Nikolas Stratton (Providence Franzes)

Maybe one of the best pitching seasons of all-time. With 13 wins and an ERA under 1.50 is just crazy. And also, his WHIP was under 0.65! This wasn’t even a competition, not even close.

Nominee - Haden Christopher (Phoenix Lights)
Nominee - Mariano Alvarado (Sancti Spiritus Hyenas)

Rhett Beltran Reliever of the Year Award - Felipe Stiltner (St. Johns Deadly sins)

Stiltner was filthy at 0-1 (it gets better, trust me) with a 2.83 ERA through 54 IP and 16 saves. His WHIP was suffocating at under 0.7, and with that many saves? Not unheard of, but still pretty damn good. Despite not a single win in 54 innings, his other stats (like 1 walk that whole season) made him the winner.

Nominee - Christobal Ceballos (Seattle Cyclones)
Nominee - Dion Dozier (Allentown Jits)

There will not be a Rookie of the Year. I checked a bunch of players (150-200 or so), and none of them were rookies that met All-Star requirements. From now on, all ROTY candidates have to be submitted by each team member. Sorry for the inconvenience, I wish there was an easier way (and props to Alexandria for finding them so easily).
