Power Rankings

Hi, it's the Mets here and today I will be writing about the rankings halfway through the season. I will be doing the top 25 teams, and top 10 batters and pitchers, based on the rankings and my opinion.

DISCLAIMER: THIS WAS WRITTEN AFTER THE 9 AM EST GAMES ON THE 10TH OF MAY. SOME OF THE PITCHERS WILL BE DONE AFTER THE 2 PM EST GAMES BECAUSE I WROTE THIS BEFORE AND AFTER THE UPDATES.

Top 5 Batters (my opinion):

1- Dominic Haskell: He has a higher avg and OBP than number 1 on the rankings. Goins has a higher RBI count but Haskell has a higher slugging. The reason he could have fewer RBI's is his place in the batting order, because of that I think he is higher, therefore, he is number 1.

2- Goins: The FB rankings got this one right. He is the 2nd highest in RBI's, OBP, and avg.

3- Ramon: He is also one of the best batters in the game on the same team as Goins. He has one of the highest RBI counts and as far as I know the highest slugging at 1.000. He also has 34 XBH's.

4- Julian Cooksey: He has 20 bombs, which I think is one of the highest if not the highest in the game. He started with 17 bombs in 17 games, on pace for 60 in a season, but then dropped off. He also has the 3rd highest slugging pct in the game with a steller OBP.
5- Vincent Coble: It is very harsh of me putting him this low. The reason I am doing it is although he has a high avg, he does not have as high slugging or RBI's like the other batters.

Top 5 Pitchers (my opinion):

Before you read please don't be toxic in the comments. I try very hard to find the best guys, but there are so many pitchers out there.

1- Damian Villanueva: He stays number 1. He is 5-1 and the loss he had, his team scored 1 run. His era is 2nd lowest in the game (out of starters) and his whip is almost as low as Degrom in real life lol.

2- Darius Roberge: He is not anywhere near the top 10 as he is 26 in the rankings, but he is 9-1 as a RELIEVER which is pretty impressive and he also has a lower WHIP than every single pitcher in the top 90 except for 1. His ERA is a 1.9 which is not amazing compared to the top, but still all-star worthy. He is not known for K's but again, he does the job exceptionally.

3- Reed Roberson: He is 5-1 with a 1.1 ERA. That is already amazing, but he has one of the highest K numbers in the game with 63.

4- Veto Cordova: This man has 0.833 ERA after 6 starts which all were wins. He also has 50 k's and .74 WHIP. No more words are needed to describe his brilliant pitching.

5- Mano Tapia: Another pitcher with a very low ERA of 1.1 and very low WHIP at .62. He also has a lot of k's with 51.

I hope you liked it. I was debating whether to add another section about players that have a high value to the team they are on, but I decided not to. Please do not be toxic in the comments.
