Breaking News: A Perfect Game!
Dec 2nd 2020
It was a bright and sunny day when the Long Beach Regulators entered the home of the Bellingham Reruns. They had no idea they would make history. 23 year old Monte Cepeda, making his 1st Regulators start, threw a perfect game over 9 innings, striking out 7 in the 8-0 win. Though Jax Arteaga went 2-4 with 2 homers, 3 RBIs, and a walk, Cepeda also had a masterful performance at the plate, finishing 4-4 with 2 RBIs, clearly maximizing his 82-40-88-75 hitting ratings AND 86-93-75-87 pitching ratings.
