Franchise Ball is simply ahead of the curve. Ive played many other baseball sims, and nothing compares to the interface here. Very innovative game, new features always coming out too.

This is the most realistic and entertaining baseball simulation game I have ever played. I usually don't pay for online games, but because of how fun this one is, I caved! It is definitely worth the small premium member price.

Real-time gaming & ownership experience

Owners have access to a player marketplace where they can bid in real-time for players for each following season.
Each player's contract lasts a single season, so every player in the game is up for grabs for the user who bids the highest.
Players can acquire and release free agents, and send up/down minor leaguers.
There is a player draft where users can place draft picks for college players within their draft pools.
There are many unique ways to acquire players.
Gaining capital through success, finding players that fulfill team chemistry, skillful management, and mindful budgeting are just some of the keys to building a championship team. And ultimately, one's success in Franchise Ball.

I got into Franchise Ball in the spring of 2020 when the covid pandemic meant my traditional fantasy baseball season was postponed. I wasn't new to a sim-league idea but had never tried it before as a baseball platform.
I was immediately immersed in the community, and discovering the vast range of management and tactical styles. Whether your baseball philosophy is long-ball bashing, shutdown pitching, singles-and-steals, or any of the other game management styles. For more than 100 seasons and with hundreds of active teams, Franchise Ball is an active and growing community of players all trying to come out on top.
Franchise Ball is free to play, with the option to invest. I have tried both free-to-play and premium membership options. While I enjoy the perks of premium membership, the game is every bit as fun and success is every bit as attainable for free players. When you find the system that works for you, the sky is the limit. And when you win your first division, league, wildcard or World Series championship, the thrill is like winning in real life. I know from experience - I won the World Series in Season 98 and I did it the hard way, collapsing late in the season to miss out on my division title, needing to progress through the wildcard playoffs before sweeping my way to 14 consecutive playoff wins and my first World title.
The Franchise Ball community is engaged, friendly and competitive. Between player awards, all-star teams and friendly tournaments in each month's off-season, I'm never at a loss for new friends, fun chat and competitive banter.
I can't recommend Franchise Ball enough to those who haven't tried it. It's been the highlight of my sim and fantasy sports experience for nearly two years, and will be a staple for years to come. When I first discovered this website, I wasn't sure what to expect. It kind of reminds me of a baseball-version of Facebook. I wasn't sure if the teams commenting on my team page were robots or actual people. I answered my own question when a team commented "lol" on my team page. This website has it all. Extra inning thrillers, upsets, epic comebacks, wild slugfests, and many other things that you love to see. It is truly a wonderful experience and I encourage people to check this website out. I guarantee you that this will change their perspective of baseball forever...in a positive way that is.

I have been playing Franchise Ball for almost three years and have never come across such a friendly online sports community. At Franchise Ball there is never a shortage of people who want to help you out and understand such a high quality simulator. With an amazing single dev team, Josh is constantly working on a unique and ever evolving game by listening to the community. I am happy to say some of my greatest moments before and during the pandemic came on this game.
Even when taking breaks from this community, I have been able to stay in contact others. With an active discord server and friendly management, I am able to stay in contact with great people. Whether you want to be a casual or competitive team, you can still have an amazing experience with a wide variety of skill levels in the postseason. If anyone wants a side hobby managing your own virtual baseball team, this game is for you.

I started playing Franchise Baseball about 5 months ago. I am a sim game junkie, but many burn me out since they game gets stale or the admin doesn't look into making the game better. FB has been a blessing to me. There are so many things that keep me busy and interested in the game. You are coach, GM, scout....
There are ways to talk game scores, strategy, and even trash talk. Building your stadium, making investments, and bidding on players is just some of the GM duties. Changing batting lineups, managing pitchers, and bringing up/sending down players are some coaching responsibilities. Searching through the farm system, drafting, and working contracts are some scouting duties.
FB is certainly the best baseball simulation game that I have played. Take it from a long time gamer, Franchise Baseball is the one to play.
